Scottish Jewel of the Glen Paperweight

Caithness Glass - 'Scottish' Jewel of the Glen Paperweight:

This stunning paperweight is part of the 'Scottish' collection by Caithness Glass and features a magnificent Scottish thistle inside a faceted clear dome. This design is made by first forming the purple spikes of the thistle, a large green bubble is then blown up with compressed air. Green glass chips are used to form thin lines that twist around the thistle whilst kingfisher glass is melted in behind. This piece is designed by Sarah Peterson and handmade by skilled craftsmen in Crieff, Scotland - making each piece completely unique by varying slightly in detail.

Each paperweight comes in a presentation box.
