Aurora | Puffin Pewter Brooch:

Part of the 'Puffin' collection by Orcadian Scottish jewellery designer, Teresa Shearer, this round brooch features a simple contemporary design of a puffin, also called a Tammie Norrie, with swirling waves. It is made from pewter, giving it a traditional Scottish feel.

Teresa Shearer grew up in Orkney and has always had a passion for art which expanded into jewellery after a placement with school. She studied Design and Craft at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, then carrying on to a Postgraduate diploma in Art and Design. She began her designing journey with Aurora in 1997, finding inspiration from nature, landscapes and found objects, all through a contemporary lens.Ā
