Part of the 'Lunar' collection by renowned Scottish jewellery designer, Sheila Fleet, this pendant features stunning silver work with unique gold flake details in the centre, beautifully handmade and finished with a rich blue gradient enamelling. This unusual design was inspired by the centuries old carved hollows found in rock at Ness of Brodgar in Orkney. The purpose of these cups is unknown, but it is possible they were created to represent the waxing and waning of the moon. Sheila perfectly captures these beautiful examples of past traditions and the shapes and textures of the rocks where they are carved. The Luna Universe design uses individually placed gold flakes that transform this classic design into something extra special.

Who is Sheila Fleet?
Sheila Fleet grew up on a farm on the Island of Orkney, off the Northeastern coast of Scotland, with the most incredible views of the Pentland Firth. She always had a passion and talent for creativity that she now utilises in her jewellery; building up a humble family-run business on a small Scottish island to become one of the most renowned jewellery designers and crafters in the whole of the UK.
Inspired by Orkney's stunning natural beauty, her designs reflect nature's wonderful sea, sky and landscape colours. Orkney's rich history and heritage are also a big part of her inspiration and the island's identity gives her jewellery an incredible personality, with each piece being fashionable, yet timeless and suitable for all ages.
