By Orcadian Scottish jewellery designer, Steven Cooper, thisĀ little charm features a design of a little groatie buckie shell (the Orcadian name for cowrie shell), and a little lobster hook clasp.
Stephen Cooper started his career in jewellery making in 1987 whilst still at school in Orkney. His passion led him to work for a local jeweller for 10 years where he honed his master craftsman skills and developed his own unique designs and techniques. In 1998 he set up Aurora Jewellery with the intention of maintaining the highest standards for originality in design as well as traditional hand crafting.

Aurora, based on the Island of Orkney, creates unusual contemporary jewellery using traditional methods and tools, uniquely merging innovative design and quality craftsmanship. Each collection is designed by one of the many talented artists Aurora collaborate with, and the creation of each piece is overseen by Master craftsman Stephen Cooper. Aurora has also worked with Sony pictures to create stunning ranges of jewellery that featured on the show Outlander.
