MÄlerÄs | Cast Crystal Red Painted Yggdrasil 'Tree of Life' Sculpture:
A cut glass 'tree of life' sculpture with a stunning spear tip like shape, handmade and hand-painted in Sweden. Yggdrasil is also called the World Tree or Tree of Life and represents the cycle of birth, growth, death, and rebirth in Norse and Celtic history and mythology. The original design is by artist Mats Jonasson and each sculpture features his signature on the bottom.
Each one is cast from a mould using a specially formulated crystal that picks up reflected light, giving it the unique sparkle and clarity. It is then sandblasted, engraved, and painted using organic colours to create the details, and the sculpture is polished throughout the creation process to ensure the highest quality gloss. To finish it off the artist's signature is added to the base.
To preserve the beautiful finish of the piece, do not use strong cleaning agents and keep it away from strong direct sunlight.
